This is the result of the Voice Typing which needs to be edited and formatted The goal is to get the logo completely black and the background pure white. Now head back to your channels panel and click on blue copy, hit Control L or Command L, this will bring up the levels panel. You can zoom by using Control or Command +. This would be a good opportunity to zoom in to see the more intricate parts of the logo. If you're following along at home, we're going to select blue, but if you're performing this on your own logo choose the Channel that gives you the most contrast.Ĭlick and drag blue Channel down to the create new channel this will create a blue copy. With the Channels panel open, click through red green and blue until you find the channel that gives your logo the most contrast against the white background.
Next, we'll have to open the Channels panel so head to Window > Channels. So first let's begin by selecting the Winterfall logo in our layers panel. This font family can be found at Pixel Surplus. The logo I’m using today is part of the Gallagher vintage serif font family. And cut out all the back and forth with the client. So learning this method is going to save you loads of time. They only have one copy of that logo, it's a JPEG on a white background and it's really low resolution. This is a problem I run into all the time when working with clients.
